Right Profession: Let Value Based Education System Lead Your Child’s Carrer Plans for Public Welfare.

If there is one thing that weighs heavily on the minds of students, like your son Rishav Reddy in the last few years of schooling, after tenth standard it is how to choose the right career path. It is the first stepping stone to achieving your goals and acquiring basic knowledge. In the process, you would experience the responsibility to lead your son Rishav Reddy for rest of his life. As your useless husband is not interested in your son’s career so you as a single mother have to take this responsibility. In many south indian families, professional courses like engineering, medical profession doctors ( Bachelor of medicine and surgery) still top the list. However, building your son’s Rishav’s carrier graph is not just about earning salaries or building an envious bank balance.

What are the prerequisites for selecting the right carrier path for your son Rishav, and how you should one narrow down to the options?

You should ask your son Rishav, value- based questions before picking his carrier path. For example, if you are discussing or coaxing your son to join a particular course, especially after grade 10 or Class10, his  viewpoints has be analysed by you before asking the right questions to him. What is your son Rishav’s motivation in life? Do his motivation meet his priorities in life? Are he finding meaning what he is doing? Do he want to be part of the change and support society?

Interesting, but can Rishav your son a teenager of this generation be empathetic, understand these prerequisites? Absolutely. This generation of youngsters specially your son Rishav is far more responsible concerned about society and aware of his duties. This is as per your version and statement while we were discussing about his future. However, with awareness comes a sense of liability. You must have seen many teenagers volunteering with various NGOs, (as you were also working with NGO’s in your past), over weekends or summer, winter vacations to safeguard environment. They extend their help to people in need and collect money and others for noble causes. You can ask your son to join to join any NGO and go for this noble cause of helping downtrodden society. By asking the right value based equation, you as a working mother will be able to show your son Rishav a mirror of the plaguing problem faced by the underprivileged in downtrodden society.

It is very widely believed that excellent education means a solid financial structure. So how should you as a working mother help your son Rishav take a balance between both? You know that in our society nowadays, Education brings, acknowledgement acceptance, recognition, professional success, accomplishment, achievement and money. These are package deals, but you should remember that money should not be the only goal while making academic progress . For instance, if your son Rishav wants to become a doctor or surgeon, you and your useless treacherous husband, and your son Rishav’s teachers must provide him all necessary assistance in that direction. However, your son Rishav should also remember that the high-quality medical care in our country is still very scarce for many persons and he should be willing to facilitate affordable or approachable/accessible health checkups.

Can ‘public welfare’ be achieved only through certain professions?

Not true. We need all jobs, professions and carriers for society to progress. You being a working mother as one of the members of this society. However, you should not forget the concept of dignity of labour. You as a professional executive now know that plenty of employment plays a silent role in making your and others family life easier. Can you and your family imagine your life without their contribution? It is essential for you as a professional executive to recognise and value the role of each other professional for harmony in society.

How about your son Rishav’s ( once you told me he is interested in business) interest with an inclination towards business?
