God gave us eyes to see the beauty in nature and hearts to see the beauty in each other. God is the ultimate experience of silence, of beauty, of bliss, a state of celebration. The mind has an innate tendency to merge with whatever it contacts; it craves this. So, it is ever agitated and restless. Through constant practice and training, it can be directed towards “Om”, the pranavam and taught to merge with it. It is also naturally drawn toward the sound and you grasp that opportunity. What does opportunity look like? What does opportunity feel like? Opportunity is the realisation that there is more you can do. It is something that is not at all difficult to see. There is more you can do. There are ways, easily within your reach, that you can make a positive difference in the world. You have knowledge, experience, resources, connections, awareness, energy, time and passion. And with it all, there is more you can do. With life as it is, in this place, on this day, in your particular situation, there is more you can do. Consider what that could be, and think of the new value it will create. Opportunity is always present. Because there is always more you can do. Get out there, get going, live and learn. Dig out new ways to transform that opportunity into richness, into beauty, into fulfilment. When you truly believe you can, then you can. For your actions in each movement are  vigourously guided by the things you believe about yourself. Your beliefs influence you even when you are not thinking about them. That gives them a constant and enormous power to effect your reality. Stop wishing in vain that you could rearrange the past or be magically inserted into a different present. Reach within yourself and figure out what you can do with whatever you have, with whatever the situation maybe. It will absolutely require some difficult choices, and you are absolutely capable of making those choices. Go ahead, for your own sake, for your family, for the world’s sake, move forward with those choices.
