As you get up in the morning kindly pray to God for few minutes. You will feel fresh, energetic strong and positive. Never give up devotion. Whether the world condemns, the ultimate happiness lies in devotion. With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift. Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose. For your life you have to fight alone because people can only suggest you but don’t stand with you. Ego is like a salt. It is necessary for taste, but repulsive if used in excess. Make humility sit on the throne of Ego. It produces dignity and decorum and results in success. Richest wealth is wisdom. Strongest weapon is patience. The best security is faith. Most effective tonic is laughter and surprisingly all are free. There is no austerity equal to a balanced mind, and there is no happiness equal to contentment; there is no disease like covetousness, and no virtue like mercy. You cannot effect a change of heart through speeches. They often lead to confusion and conflict. Better than speeches is the practice of love, with faith in the Divine. By believing in God and yet ignoring God’s utterances and commands, you are contradicting yourselves. Be so rich in character that you have nothing more to acquire. Be so miserly in criticising that you have all the world wanting more of you. Build up a personality worth emulating. By harbouring hatred, one renders one’s life miserable. ‘An angry man fails in all of his enterprises.’ Anger brings in its train all kinds of ill-fame. Haunted by infamy, he can have no happiness.
